In order to further deepen the reform of the administrative examination and approval system and effectively reduce the burden on market subjects, the administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine (aqsiq) has decided to adjust the validity period of the license of special equipment manufacturers in Beijing according to the approval of the pilot reform of special equipment administrative license and elevator inspection in Beijing.

Adjust the content

Adjust the license validity of special equipment production (including design, manufacture, installation, transformation and repair, the same below) issued by Beijing city, from the original 4 years to 8 years.

2. Adjustment method

(1) for the newly applied special equipment production unit

Where an administrative license for a special equipment manufacturer is obtained in accordance with the law, a license certificate with a term of 8 years shall be issued.

(2) for special equipment production units within the license period

1. Extend the validity period of 4 years to 8 years according to the original license date. Prior to the expiration of the eight-year license, the administrative license shall be extended as required.

2. The original license certificate with a validity period of 4 years is issued, and it is not necessary to apply for license renewal before the expiration. Special equipment manufacturers can bring relevant materials (see the attachment, the same below) to Beijing special equipment testing center to handle the replacement procedures. Units that have exceeded the validity period of the original license and have not gone through the formalities of this replacement shall apply for the relevant license again if they continue to engage in activities related to the licensing matters.

3. The application for license renewal has been submitted, and those who have not completed the license renewal process can bring relevant materials to Beijing special equipment testing center to directly apply for the license renewal.

Special equipment production units should strictly abide by the law of the People's Republic of China special equipment safety ", "special equipment safety supervision regulations" and other relevant laws, regulations, norms and standards requirements, continue to meet the licensing conditions, standard production and operation activities, strengthen self-discipline, improve the level of safety management, ensure the quality and safety of special equipment production.
