Wait for elevator safety knowledge

Elevators are People's Daily vertical transportation. If you live on the 10th floor, it is hard to imagine a day without elevators. The design of modern elevators gives maximum consideration to the safety of passengers, but this does not guarantee that the equipment will be safe under any circumstances. As a passenger, the safe and civilized use of the elevator should be realized when the elevator is in normal operation, and the self-protection awareness should be improved when the elevator breaks down to prevent the occurrence of danger. Safety tips for normal operation of elevators:

Press the up or down button at the door correctly. Do not press up/down 2 buttons at the same time. This will make the elevator useless and waste your time and energy as well as others. Waiting for the arrival of the elevator, if multiple parallel elevator groups, may not be the elevator in front of you to pick you up, any of the elevator station lights flashing and the arrival bell ring, or invitation you to wait at its entrance.

When the elevator opens, the passenger goes down and up. If a passenger steps out of the car, you should stand to one side to facilitate evacuation and then enter the car.

If the car is fully loaded, wait for the next elevator.

When the elevator closes, do not put your hands or other objects between the doors.

Evacuate via stairway in case of fire or other emergency. In case the power supply is damaged, the passenger may be locked in the elevator car.

In and out of the car

Safe and fast car access, do not stay at the door. Passengers standing at the door should get out of the car first.

Press the floor selection button correctly to make sure you are passing your floor.

If the number of passengers in the car is moderate, you can move deep into the car for the convenience of other passengers.

The passenger with the child takes care of the child. Passengers with pets are advised to prevent their pets from moving alone.

Keep your distance from the door. When opening and closing doors, pay special attention to prevent clothing or other belongings from getting jammed in the door.

To keep the door open, press the door button. If you need to move something, ask other passengers to hold the door button for you.
