Schindler kone 587 friction pulley, also known as the main pulley. In the rope transportation and lifting machinery, friction transmission principle is used to drive the moving parts of the rope. Friction wheel is the main part of friction hoist transmission. The outer circle of the friction wheel is provided with a friction liner block, and the liner block is provided with a rope groove for carrying and lifting the steel wire rope. Liner shall have sufficient compressive strength and friction coefficient to prevent sliding during lifting. Ensure the normal operation of friction hoist.

The material of friction wheel shall meet the following requirements:

(1) it has a large elastic modulus to reduce elastic sliding and power loss.

(2) with a larger friction coefficient, it can provide greater friction and improve the transmission capacity.

(3) high contact fatigue strength.

(4) good wear resistance and long working life.

(5) low sensitivity to temperature and humidity.
